The article also included information on mentioned listing of each town's median condo price, as well as expert information about each area that may help incoming residents decide where to move within in the Boston area.
Here are the top spots for the first two price-point tiers for single-family homes in Greater Boston:
First Price-point Tier: $1M+
- Cambridge: $1,310,000; +59% change since 2012
- Winchester $1,085,000; +55%
- Brookline $1,850,000; +54%
Second Price-point Tier: $750K-$1M
- Jamaica Plain: $850,000; +80% change since 2012
- South Boston: $790,000; +78%
- Needham: $962,500; +43%
